Founder, CEO
Anthony founded Synergistic in 2018 with two employees and today it's grown to a team of 30 people with multiple departments, recognized annually on the Inc. 5000 List - the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies. Anthony's leadership has shaped Synergistic into a leading Advertising and Marketing company, an exponential growth driver that's relentlessly focused on results.
VP, Brand Strategy + Experience
A branding and strategy specialist, Chris brings more than 25 years of agency and corporate creative experience to Synergistic, where he develops strategically differentiated business and brand positions and messaging for B2B, B2C, retail, CPG, and service clients. With a work history that includes successful stops at Standard Textile, LPK, Landor Associates, Fifth Third Bancorp, and Strata-G, Chris' background as a Creative Director, Marketing Manager, and Content & Brand Strategist, makes him perfectly suited to lead and mentor the strategy, design, copy, and videography components at Synergistic.
Director of Digital Marketing
Vince is an acclaimed expert in digital marketing operations, renowned for his innovative approach to marketing automation, UX/UI, SEO/SEM, social media, and growth-focused marketing. He has earned accolades such as Innovator of the Year and a Webby Award, reflecting his success in leading a digital marketing team at a Fortune 500 company before joining Synergistic.
Senior Client Manager
Jolene is our resident Marketing MVP, managing budgets, funding strategies, programs, and client processes while also excelling in direct in-person experiences for clients and end-users. She is also passionate about keeping her eyes on the prize - through bridging gaps and identifying opportunities for minorities and women - and as a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs where she helps develop emerging leaders to work and lead across different sectors by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and networks to accelerate positive change. Before joining Synergistic, Jolene worked with the Social Innovators Business Planning program and competition with the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Louisiana. For fun she enjoys live music, great dining, and creating traditions and memories with her husband and kids. Jolene continues to chip away at her goal to visit all 32 MLB Ballparks with her family - so it's no wonder she can handle every curve or change-up that comes her way at work!

Addie previously worked as a financial analyst, but her transition into a new role as one of our Client Managers has been seamless and impressive. Addie's attention to detail, critical thinking, and teamwork skills have already made an important impact on our clients and the entire Synergistic team
Copywriter
Adam joins Synergistic following 16 years as a sportswriter and journalist at The Cincinnati Enquirer. His love affair with words began with editing copy and designing pages. He continued to hone his craft of storytelling as a beat writer by covering everything from high school football to college basketball and professional baseball - all with a flair for compelling story angles while using words to convey emotions, sports heroics, and fearless moments as tales of humanity. With more than 3,000 bylines to his name, Adam's experience in research, conducting interviews, and turning an idea into a well-written story all serve him well in his role at Synergistic. The mispronunciation of Adam's last name early in life landed him a nuclear nickname that's stuck with him to this day. Although he's considerably less lethal than his “Adam Baum” moniker would lead many to believe, Adam's greatest threat is to the citrus industry, which can't produce enough clementines to sustain him. When he's not working on a story, you can find Adam on a golf course working on his swing and talking to each golf ball like it's an old friend.

Caroline has a strong background in developing strategic media plans for major brands, expertly managing target audiences, budget allocation, and platform placement to achieve outstanding campaign performance. She has a proven track record of leading teams to execute flawless campaigns, ensuring every detail aligns with client goals. Caroline's dedication to precision and excellence in media planning helps us elevate our campaign strategies and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Director of Media Systems, Integration & Architecture
Aaron draws from his former dirt car racing champion roots to take scattered, raw, ugly data to a place where it can exist with other raw, ugly data before transforming it into organized, clean data that turns into reports and visualizations that tell a clear and concise story. When he's not correcting people on the proper spelling of his last name, our Datorama King enjoys performing is duties as the president of the young professionals advisory board of the Indianapolis Arts Center. Prior to Synergistic, Aaron guided a start-up a team in India from the ground up for Salesforce and created training documentation for AMER and APAC regions. Aaron loves road trips - from “sportscations” to Chicago to see da Bears, da Bulls, da Blackhawks, and Da Cubs - to South Bend for the Fightin' Irish. He's been to 31 states and 9 countries - so hit him up for frequent flyer miles if you're running short.
EVP, Client Strategy
Laura's knowledge in strategy and media is the result of over 25 years of experience in roles such as Client Strategist, Media Director, and Executive Vice President. She became part of the Synergistic team following a notable tenure in the industry, where she was instrumental in advancing client growth, year-over-year sales achievements, and retail traffic enhancement strategies across a variety of sectors including mass retail, grocery, CPG brands, pet retail, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, adhesive products, personal care, footwear, finance, insurance, athletic apparel, and sporting good.
VP, Media Operations + Client Strategy
Prior to joining Synergistic, Courtney created the first ever Communications Planning Practice at Empower, and helped launch Kroger Precision Marketing at 84.51°. Those experiences and 20+ years in the media landscape make Courtney the perfect person to lead Synergistic's team of dedicated subject matter media experts to drive seamlessly-coordinated, holistic media plans across all media channels.
Director of Video Production
For the last 12 years, Patrick's place has been behind a camera, creating high-level videography and photography content for clients across numerous verticals. Whether it's concepting, lighting, shooting, directing, or editing, Patrick's developed a consistent approach at Synergistic that connects clients to audiences in a variety of ways. It may be for social media, websites, or commercials, but what starts with an initial brief becomes an impactful final product that Patrick orchestrates and executes.
Senior Client Manager, Strategist
Heather was among Synergistic's first hires - arriving with years of experience in the B2B tech space with a major focus on Channel Marketing, in particular. It's no wonder she works with clients daily to create strategies aligned to their organizational goals with an emphasis on digital marketing success. It's also no wonder that Heather is the very definition of a “Team Player” and a company “MVP,” having developed an expectation for winning as a scholarship basketball player in college. Outside of work (and the court), she is passionate about her son Trey and to a lesser extent (the) Ohio State football.
Senior Client Manager
Lien brings 20+ years of combined experience in marketing communications, planning, and automation, content management and process improvement to Synergistic from her previous positions at top B2B tech firms including Convergys and SEI. A proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati and a visiting faculty member of Miami University, when Lien isn't building client relationships and solving business challenges, you can find this self-described “yoga pants ambassador and sucker for family and Dobermans” raising a ruckus at FC Cincinnati games.
Executive Copywriter
Mark started his copywriting career by taking a chainsaw to a dictionary - just to see what would happen. He continued on this path for years, wearing spiffy suits, while learning how to turn insights into ideas. From the “One Show Pencil to The Pro Awards, and a Regional Emmy®, he's got the honors to prove it. The earth has cooled considerably since his BFA in Electronic Media, but Mark's creative influence and strategic management have touched a wide range of clients from billion-dollar brands including Crest, Dawn, Pampers and Tide to Walt Disney World, Kellogg's, Nestle, and everything in between. Prior to becoming Synergistic's ECD, Mark had ultimate responsibility for the creative product at some of Los Angeles' top ad agencies until his inability to tan forced him to flee California for the verdant Ohio River Valley. Throw in a weakness for talking in the Third Person and you get Mark's life. Fun Fact: Mark is a published author of the book Innovation: Myths and Mythstakes, named as a “Top 20 Great Read” by Business Week Magazine and Bloomberg.
Lead Graphic Designer
Brooklynn brings a bubbly enthusiasm to every collaboration with the design team and project managers while creating visual assets for clients. As a designer, but specifically in UI/UX, she preps and designs all the screens through which users move and create the visual elements - along with the interactive properties that make them possible. It's easy to say “Cheers to Brooklynn” on gameday since she designed the popular Limited Edition White Bengals can for Canvus Cocktails in her spare time. When she's not busting planks and burpees with Race Street Athletics, Brooklynn is devoted to her faith, friends, snowboarding, earring-making, crocheting, and Xavier basketball. On rainy days, you can find her laughing at “I Love Lucy” episodes from 1954.
Client Director, Paid Media
By using agency best practices, Iris provides our clients with peace of mind by ensuring that media is always delivering to goals - from strategy to results - and is a whiz at translating everything into easily digestible reports. She also works collaboratively with the performance side of Synergistic to guarantee a smooth customer experience on integrated campaigns. Before joining Synergistic Iris spent 12 years at a top independent agency in progressively more senior roles from Senior Search Specialist to Programmatic Director - planning strategy and tracking revenue. When she's not at Synergistic reading data and finding the “stories behind the stats,” Iris enjoys her family - devoting time between Girl Scout Leader, dance, and Soccer Mom. She is also learning to become an at-home coffee barista during what she laughingly refers to as her “free time.”
Sr. Specialist, Search & Social
Ben brings 5+ years' experience in paid search to Synergistic, where he currently manages all paid search, retail media, and social for a variety of clients. His passion is understanding how consumers look for products and services - from understanding how they search to determining which keywords they use - so he can build out psychographic profiles on them and establish what interests they have and what makes them an ideal target consumer. Before joining Synergistic, Ben successfully revamped the paid search strategy for a financial institution and improved their CPA within a key line of business, leading to year-over-year sales growth. When he's not hard at work partnering with key client stakeholders you can find Ben cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs (in enemy territory!), cooking in the kitchen and trying the latest Cincinnati craft beer (or more than one if the Chiefs lose).
Office Manager, Health Director
VP, Media + Client Strategy
With nearly 20 years' experience in multi-channel marketing, Melissa oversees client media strategy, planning and buying, along with the team that supports paid media advertising, research/insights, and business development at Synergistic. Her deep understanding and knowledge comes from working with national and regional clients including both consumer and HCP healthcare marketing, including Allergan, Abbott, Bon Secours Mercy Health, eleeo brands, and more.
Director of Software Development
Trevor has more than a decade of experience providing connectivity to people and devices, and building systems that can scale. His passion for software and web development began as a student at Northern Kentucky University, where he enrolled in a programming class that changed the course of his life. His focus at Synergistic centers on deploying scalable software with ingenuity and innovation, skills he developed as a Software Engineer at KORE Telematics, TruSense, and Consumer Cellular.
CFO
As a 4th generation entrepreneur, Penny is ideally suited in her role as CFO, responsible for the financial function of standard deviation while assisting with legal and company strategy. Prior to Synergistic, Penny spent decades in early-stage venture capital, as well as hedge funds, and public accounting. Working with early/mid-stage entrepreneurs to avoid common pitfalls is her wheelhouse. Advising entrepreneurs and helping them get started while managing Hypergrowth-to-Exit is a particular passion point. When she's not balancing the books, cutting checks, and looking out for the financial health of the company, Penny is focused on her own health and fitness in the gym. An ideal day includes spending quality time with her grown children, adorable grandson and the two sweetest “grand-puppies” you've ever seen. As a born-and-raised Bostonian, she is excited about adopting the Bengals, attempting golf and travel.
Senior Client Manager
Shannon brings her 10+ years' experience in the creation of sales enablement materials, digital campaign elements and website strategy / content development for Fortune 500 companies to her role as Senior Client Manager at Synergistic. Her deep knowledge of brand building, design, and innovation informs her ability to develop and manage project plans - processes/approaches, timelines, and presentations for our clients. Shannon is also a go-to resource for account strategy and campaign planning. She loves helping brands / businesses move the needle through strategic marketing approaches and branding solutions and says it's the most rewarding part of her job. A proud University of Cincinnati Bearcat, Shannon's ability to jump head-first into new projects must come from her enthusiasm for skydiving - an adventure which nearly matches the excitement of running around with 2 young / energetic boys.
Social Media Manager
This Summa Cum Laude Xavier Grad and Castleberry Entrepreneurship Award-winner joined the Synergistic Team to build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure long-term success, and it's working! Lilli's winning formula includes collaborating with other Synergistic team members to create marketing strategies tailored to our clients' needs, while overseeing project lifecycles, timelines, and creative output. Known for her creativity and problem-solving on the job, Lilli puts both to good use outside of work as well - with her handmade jewelry hobby/business called Clayed with Care.
Web Developer
“Bam” brings his wicked Bostonian smarts to both frontend and backend web development. He taught himself to code, after all. When not waiting in line at “Dunks” for a cold brew coffee, he's using his world-class skills, experience, drive, and dedication to bring websites to life. In what he laughingly refers to as his free time, Brendan can be found indulging in sim racing, sports, video games, and explaining to Ohioans what a “bubbler” is.
Sr. Director, Media Planning & Strategy
Amy brings more than 25 years' marketing experience and thought leadership across media channels to her role at Synergistic directing strategy and plan development for paid media. From research to consumer journey frameworks and measurement roadmaps, Amy oversees tactical plan development and guides our team throughout the entire process. Prior to Synergistic, she worked at Empower for two decades, honing her craft and burnishing her self-professed “media geek” credentials. As a music lover and former choir member, when she's not ensuring her plans are in harmony, she can be found singing karaoke. Favorite getaways include family beach vacations with her husband and daughter and staycations with her toy poodle and two black cats (who actually bring good luck).
Sr. Media Manager, Strategy & Innovation
Building brands one campaign at a time is a favorite saying of Tim's. And he proves it daily by always looking for ways to improve clients' campaigns while providing priceless insight into how their campaigns are performing. Tim brings more than a decade's worth of experience to Synergistic from working across every vertical in the marketing industry. Previous agency stops along the way prepared Tim for his current role with deep experience in digital strategy, engagement, and campaign operations. He also earned his Google Analytics Certification “before it was cool”. He is passionate about solving problems and exploring the unknown - which he is getting plenty of practice doing every day - as the proud father of a newborn baby boy.
